Artist Reflection: Coffee Camera
That you can clearly see different light values and also see what we tried to take the pictures. In our finish photo clearly has black and white in it. What can be improved on is how we put the photo in the can because sometimes we didn't and it didn't stay up so the pictures would even be anythings (first strip). The easies thing was that all we had to do was set the can up and point it as something and hold it for a certain amount time. The hardest thing is that you can only do it one photo at a time and only in one class so it takes a longer time to develop a good photo. We took good pictures and had all the values in the photo. We could definitely didn't work consecutively and efficiently meaning it took us along time so next times we need to work a little faster.Thursday, December 17, 2015

Artist Reflection: Trees on Film
The strongest technical aspect of this work is the different color values. You can clearly see blacks and whites in the pictures. I counted all of the photograms ad test strips I've done and I counted 18. It's been a long proses and I'm finally glad I don't have to go back into the dark room for the same project. I think that could have been improved on is the focusing the enlarger and checking to make sure that it's crisp and clean to make the picture look good.
The easiest part of this activity was taking the pictures but the hardest part was figuring out all the necessary adjustments I needed to make for the pictures to turn out pretty.
I dement rated the objectives because I have the different light values and have the setting on the right place. If I could do it again I would try and use photo grams and strips to get to the ending point.

Artist Reflection: Photo Grams
The strongest technical aspect of my work is that I feel like front he first test strip that I've done to the latest one, I've grown in knowledge and I'm able to help other students achieve good results. One of the points that I could improve on is trying to get a verities of white, grey, and black. In my symmetrical one, I didn't get any grey and I think that in the future if I did it again that would be something I would want to improve on.
I think the easiest part was putting the lay out of the pictures together, but the hardest part for me was tying to deliver then in the end the way I want them to. A lot of the stuff I did didn't turn out the way I thought it was going to and maybe I should have anticipated the outcome
I demonstrated everything I as suppose to do or tried to demonstrate. There where moments when the objectives where met (especially in the test strips) but I kept going and tried to improve on what I could. One thing that I would have done differently is thinking about what I'm doing and double checking that all the little things are set probably and at the sport they are suppose to be.

Artist Refection: Make It Pop!
The strongest part about this pictures is that fact that the polaroid make the player stand out. It's almost as if she is 3D appearing. The only thing that I would want to improve on is making both arms break the fourth plain. I think the easiest thing about this project was getting the photo. I've had the worst problems with this project. I've started over three times and I'm pretty sure the background was m least favorite things to do. It took me so long the get everything to line up together and to be even. I guess in the end it all worked out because I think it looks amazing and it's probably my favorite things I've done in this class so far.
I think the objective of this project was to break the fourth wall and I've done that, I also thing it was to change the background which is done. I worked really hard on erasing and placing each and everything single volleyball, number, and polaroid not this picture and from all my struggles i think the thing I would want to improve on is being more careful with my work and paying attention to what I'm working on.

I demonstrated the objective by creating a before and after because you can clearly see the difference in the two pictures. I think I would try and smooth out the skin more.
